Why onemusic project?

About 8 years ago, I started OneMusic Project. At the time my idea was simple: let’s create one music project at a time, hence the name. So I started with one concert, programmed and directed with my friends with one goal: we should sound like the recordings we admired. We sold tickets to family, friends, friends of friends, and it worked.

Over the years, I continued producing one music project after another, and OneMusic Project has grown into a grassroots concert series. For 8 years, we have performed at major venues in New York City including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Merkin Hall, Scandinavia House, Opera America, The New School and the Metropolitan Playhouse. Our audience has grown to a larger number at every event, and we can only conclude that they came to support us because they loved our previous performance.

OneMusic Project is a not for profit organization, and we will keep producing our art, one music project at a time. Each time you attend a concert, I hope you’ll conclude that our performers bring their personal story to you, through their love of the music.
